Johanna Konta (born 17 May 1991) is a British professional tennis player, having formerly represented Australia until 2012. She has won four singles titles on the WTA Tour, as well as 11 singles and four doubles titles on the ITF Women's Circuit. The former British number one reached her best singles ranking of world No. 4 on 17 July 2017.

Konta and Carril decided to part ways at the end of 2016 in the same year where the Brit reached her maiden Grand Slam semi-final and won a first WTA title in California. Since the split, Carril has continued working in British tennis, working briefly at an LTA academy and working closely with another British star Katie Swan.
